What is Great About the Shizutetsu Railway?

A cute two-car local train connects Shin-Shimizu Station and Shin-Shizuoka Station in about 20 minutes.

Trains run frequently.

It is a popular everyday train used by local residents.

If a shuttle bus is available from Shimizu Port, simply get off at Shin-Shimizu Station, take the train, and ride to the final stop, Shin-Shizuoka Station.

Credit card contactless payment is available at selected stations.

How to Get from the Cruise Ship Terminal to Shin-Shimizu Station

Local Bus

Take the Miho-Yamanote Line bus (No. 57 or 58) from the Verkehr Shimizu Port Terminal Museum bus stop, in front of the Verkehr Museum, toward Shimizu Station, and get off at Shin-Shimizu Station.
