Buses in Shizuoka City are operated by Shizutetsu Justline(しずてつジャストライン).

How to Ride the Bus

Passengers board through the middle door and exit through the front door next to the driver. Payment can be made by cash or transportation IC card.

If paying by cash, take a numbered ticket from the machine when boarding, and place the ticket together with the fare into the fare box when getting off.

If using an IC card, simply tap your card on the reader when boarding and tap again when exiting.

IC cards

Accepted IC cards include PiTaPa, ICOCA, PASMO, Suica, Kitaca, manaca, TOICA, Hayakaken, nimoca, and SUGOCA. Mobile Suica is also accepted.

You can add cash value to Mobile Suica at convenience store registers, although some stores may not offer this service.

If you are paying fares for multiple passengers with a single IC card such as TOICA or Suica, tell the bus driver how many passengers you would like to pay for before tapping your card on the reader when getting off.
